Colognia press won prestigious WorldStar Award 2019

We are proud to announce that the packaging team from Colognia press have won the ultimate packaging accolade – A WorldStar Award in the category of “Beverages” for “Switchle” - an organic sparkling soft drink.

About ceremony

Representatives from 20 packaging associations, members of WPO (World Packaging Organisation), met in October for the 2nd Board Meeting of 2018 and to judge the WorldStar Packaging Awards. The most important and well recognized packaging award in the world. There were judged 319 packaging projects, from 35 countries, that entered the WorldStar Awards 2019.

All winners will be recognised in an Awards Ceremony and Gala Evening on May 15, 2019, in Prague, Czech Republic, as part of the 1st WPO Board Meeting´s program.

And the winner is...

The packing we entered into the competition was for an organic sparkling soft drink, Switchle, produced by the British manufacturer Healthy Sales Group. Switchle is a unique organic non-alcoholic beverage based on sparkling spring water, apple vinegar with matcha, honey, natural juices, and carefully selected botanical extracts that have been used for centuries in their native countries for their health benefits. Switchle was launched in three fabulous flavour combinations: Matcha, Lime and Mint; Turmeric, Ginger and Peach; and Rooibos, Raspberry and Pomegranate. Switchle is a refreshing and tasty adult soft drink with health promoting properties.

The packaging was printed by flexoprint technology on an adhesive label of fasson shrink vinyl. We harmonized the characteristics of the label, printing, and the packaging material. The graphical design suits the can and creates a luxurious metallic effect.
